Lamplighter’s Marsh Local Nature Reserve is next to the tidal River Avon. Viper’s bugloss, moth mullein and, a nationally rare moss grow here. Curlew and redshank can be seen along the river at low tide. Bee orchids grow in The Daisy Field.
The Friends of Lamplighter’s Marsh and Bristol City Council protect and enhance the Reserve. Activity days and educational walks with experts are open to everybody.
